The Tierra Adentro Horseback Ride is a journey on horseback which allows you to discover breathtaking landscapes and places of great historical importance. You will get to know the essence of Mexico visiting colonial cities recognized as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO, magical towns, majestic sanctuaries, and traditional Mexican rural communities, all this riding along the ancient Camino Real de Tierra Adentro.

Is a route designed for riders with experience of medium to expert, they must be sure about their handling of the horse and its steps (step, trot, and gallop) as well as being physically prepared to ride an average of 5 to 7 hours A day, for several days in a row.

During our 8-day Charro adventure along the historic route of La Plata and the Revolution, we not only discover beautiful landscapes but also visit the colonial villages protected by UNESCO of San Miguel de Allende, Dolores Hidalgo, and Guanajuato.

** Are you alone? do not worry, you can individually register/book and join in a group with other riders.

Accommodation: In very comfortable and luxurious Haciendas and Posadas. Based on double, triple, and quadruple rooms depending on the group and the lodge.

Meals: Full board from dinner on day 1 to breakfast on day 8.

Guides: professional and multilingual guides. Furthermore, you will be accompanied by local arrieros. The guides are equipped with cell phones so they can call for assistance if needed.

Backup Vehicle: brings your personal luggage to the daily overnight place/hacienda.

Travel Insurance and Trip Cancellation Insurance are Mandatory: ask your local insurance company or travel agent about it. You will not be allowed to participate in this riding holiday without having both of these personal travel insurance.

Luggage: the maximum allowable weight of your luggage depends from airline to airline. Check with the airline or travel agent how many kilograms and pieces of luggage you can take. Your personal luggage is transported during the trek to the various stopovers.

In the cities, you can pay with credit cards. (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express). You hardly will need money during the trail ride. -
Health: The region we visit in Mexico is safe in terms of health. You can easily eat and drink anything without being stomach bothered. Eating raw vegetables, salads, and ice-creams in the places we take you is no problem. There are no vaccinations required for this part of Mexico.

Language: Spanish is the official language in Mexico, but do not worry our guide speaks 6 languages and will help and translate with pleasure where needed.

Safety: Guanajuato is one of the safest regions in Mexico, on the trail ride there is no need to worry at all!
